Day 93: More pipes made for display

Plastic pipes for display

I have cut and painted more PVC pipe pieces with various colours to display with pipe miniatures for a window show. These are all symbolising off cut pieces I have created for the last 6 months during producing “Pipe way” series. Thinking of its combination of geometry and colours I realise how great motif (or material ) I have chosen for my new body of work. Not to mention its industrial function pipes are excellent material to show how creatively I can engage to build structure and generated the space between.  

나는 오늘 윈도우 전시를 위해 내 파이프 미니어쳐를 디스플레이할 목적으로 몇개의 피브이씨 파이프를 더 잘라서 페인트를 칠해보았다. 이것들은 내가 지난 6개월간 “파이프 웨이”를 만들면서 생산하게된 파이프의 잘려나가고 남은 부분들을 상징한다. 그것들의 기하학적인 면과 색깔들의 혼합을 고려하면서 나는 또다시 내가 새로운 작품을 위해 얼마나 훌륭한 모티브를 선택했는지를 깨닫는다. 그것의 산업적인 연계성은 말할 것도 없이 파이프들은 내가 그 구조와 공간을 읽는 것에 내가 얼마나 창조적으로 관여할 수 있는 지를 보여주는 훌륭한 재료이다.
